1. A song that reminds you of your origin in music production?
Sd Laila – That’s Hatakiri
This track opened the path for me as a composer. I was shocked by the sense of order within its freedom—it became something like my core.
2. What do you listen to when you’re not feeling well?
Chet Baker – Everything Happens To Me
3. What do you listen to when cooking?
Lil Uzi Vert – The Way Life Goes (feat. Oh Wonder)
Honestly it depends on the day, but I often play this when I’m in a good mood—like when I’m drinking and cooking. It’s kind of like bouncy, upbeat cooking.
4. A track you want to hear in the club right now?
Marshmello – Alone
It was my anthem as a teenager. I don’t go to clubs as much anymore, which is exactly why I feel like dancing to it all out.
5. A song that makes you feel your hometown?
DJ RYOW feat. Tsubaki – All Green
I listened to it again recently and it brought back memories of my hometown.
6. A song that makes you think about love?
Sergei Prokofiev – Romeo & Juliet, Op. 64 – Act 1: Balcony Scene – Romeo’s Variation – Love Dance
My favorite ballet music. The story plays a big role, but it really makes me reflect on love.
7. What do you listen to before going out at night?
Mostly my own tracks or my friends’ music.
Shout out to lymph, JerkboyFlakka, Souw, Ksr:3 and my boys.
8. A song that feels ambitious?
George Gershwin – Rhapsody in Blue
I’ve loved it ever since I encountered it while doing ballet. It makes me want to move—something very instinctive.
9. A song you want to listen to on a Sunday morning?
Duke Ellington, John Coltrane – In a Sentimental Mood
Not just Sundays—more like mornings on days off. I listen to it often.
10. A recent track you discovered and liked?
ksr:3, SEEDA – DONT STOP THE MUSIC
More than the track itself, ksr:3 as an artist has been really impactful for me. The raw self-expression that only self-production can achieve, combined with a sense of luxury, is incredible.
11. Tell us about your upcoming album “Skinny Blood Frontier.”
In the end, I spent about a year and a half working on it. I changed a lot during that time, so I can kind of laugh at how different I’ve become, but at the same time I feel confident because everything came together as one cohesive piece.
It’s the culmination of EOIDIE. It’s almost like a film that captures even the side of me that can’t help but want to dress up everyday life. I’d love for you to listen to it.
